HOPEWELL STAFFING is sourcing candidates for a MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN in the HARLINGEN, TX area.

PAY RANGE:  $14 PER HOUR 
​​​SCHEDULE: 40 hours per day

 

We welcome all applicant profiles with the following requirements;

 

  • Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Must be currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, be in good standing and maintain that license while providing services at the Facility.
  • Will have completed an American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Facility.
  • Work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, (IID) in a residential section, not outpatient clinic.
  • Will ensure Contract Office has a current license and current CPR certificate at all times while providing services at the Facility. Failure to do so will require a suspension of services until an updated license and CPR certificate are provided and no monetary penalty will be assessed against the Facility for such suspension in services.
  • Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Registered Nursing and Vocational Nursing Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas.
  • Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility.
  • Will complete assigned duties in accordance with the duties assigned to permanent RNs and LVNs of the Facility.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 

​​​The selected candidate will be required to clear a background check and clear all immunization requirements before being allowed to provide services. Also, the selected candidate must be ready to begin training once background and immunization requirements are met. Training is held at the Facility Training Department. If there are any concerns with these requirements, please let me know.
