We are currently sourcing for skilled and experience candidates to satisfy our needs for a Registered Nurse (RN) and two (2) Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in the HARLINGEN, TX area.
ROLE / RATE & REQUIREMENTSREGISTERED NURSE (RN) – 1 position needed
- Pay Rate: $35 - 40.00 / Hour
- Must be currently registered / licensed with the State, good standing, and maintain Licensure status while providing services at the facility
- Must be Bilingual
- Certified by an approved course through the American Heart Association in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and maintain certified status while providing services
LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSES (LVN) – 2 positions needed
- Pay Rate: $30 - 35.00 / Hour
- Must be currently registered / licensed with the State, good standing, and maintain Licensure status while providing services at the facility
- Must be Bilingual
- Certified by an approved course through the American Heart Association in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and maintain certified status while providing services
- Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned
- Work with dually diagnosed patients, mental health, in a residential section, not outpatient clinic.
- Will ensure Contract Office has a current license and current CPR certificate at all times while providing services at the Facility. Failure to do so will require a suspension of services until an updated license and CPR certificate are provided and no monetary penalty will be assessed against the Facility for such suspension in services.
- Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Registered Nursing and Vocational Nursing Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas.
- Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility.
- Will complete assigned duties in accordance with the duties assigned to permanent RNs and LVNs of the Facility.
CONDITIONS:
- The selected candidate will be required to clear a background check
- Clear with all immunization requirements prior to providing services
- Able to begin training once background and immunization requirements are fulfilled
- Committed to attending Training, which is held at the Facility Training Department

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Monday - Sunday
- 24 hours a day, seven days per week possibility
- 12-hour shift varies:
- 1st shift – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- 2nd shift – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to include weekends
- Time is allowed during the shift for a 30-minute, unpaid meal break
- Overtime Pay: HHSC does not allow overtime, unless approved and scheduled on an individual basis by the facility.
