We are currently sourcing for skilled and experienced candidates who can fulfill our need for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in the LUFKIN, TX area.
Pay Rate: $35-42 with optional benefits package

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Looked to perform complex nursing duties as assigned by the lead facility Administrator
- Work will include patient assessment overview, direct care and treatment
- May be needed to supervise the work and job quality of others
- Willing to works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
- Must demonstrate considerable knowledge of nursing rules/regulations, methods, procedures, techniques and human relations
- Skilled in practical working knowledge of cultural, social and economic forces in family and group relationships.
- Team player and willingness to provide care and support to residents and/or staff members in emergency situations
- Provides leadership and stewardship in the areas of teaching skills, advanced nursing methods, interviewing principles and techniques
- Must be able to present ideas clearly and concisely utilizing English in both written and oral communications
- Presentations in monthly meetings of developmental and informative Nursing information through an In-service training/teaching format
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
- Performs health assessments campus wide.
- Responds to medical emergencies on campus.
- Communicates health status/needs to other disciplines, families as needed.
- Provides teaching and training to staff and individuals
- Provides personnel management to subordinate [sic] nursing staff.
- Facilitates personnel matters.
- Delegates work assignments.
- Evaluates employees performance
- Complies with all State/Federal/Local standards.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the nursing process and nursing procedures.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas (or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact)
