HOPEWELL STAFFING is sourcing candidates for REGISTERED NURSES AND LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSES in the ABILENE, TX area.  See specifics below.

Job Requirements for all candidates:

• Must be licensed RN or LVN/LPN and able to practice in Texas
• 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse
• Experience needs to be hospital acute care, LTC or NH (not Home Health)
• Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.

Here is our Timeline for hiring:

• Qualified submissions welcome now through 9/25/2020
• Phone interviews now through 9/29/2020
• Hiring decisions on or before 9/30/2020
• Approximate start date week of 10/14/2020
• Minimum 6-month contract
• All compliance must be met before candidate can start. No exceptions.

PAY RATE:    

• RN - $37 per hour
• LVN - $27 per hour

Current Open Shifts: (Subject to change)

• RNs = 2
• LVN/LPNs - 4

• 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch)
• 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch
• Weekend work required, up to 40 hours/week. Occasional overtime may be possible but not required or guaranteed.

Other:

• No extra time off will be available during the holiday season including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
• Must have valid photo ID
• Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check
• Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check
• Prefer candidates who live local (within 30 miles of Austin)
